Tournament Results

Most recent tournament is listed first.

Parents and coaches: You can find your players’ USCF ID numbers (and latest ratings) by clicking on the “USCF Ratings” link (if listed with the tournament results). While their ratings will change with each tournament, their 8-digit ID number is theirs for life - list that when entering future tournaments or renewing their membership.

If a rated event doesn’t have a “USCF Ratings” link, you can find the USCF crosstable by going to:

http://uschess.org/msa/TnmtLst.php and entering the date the tournament ended in the following format:

4-digit year 2-digit month 2-digit day with no spaces. Example: 20080309 will return all tournaments ended on March 9, 2008. Scroll down to find Indiana tournaments (they’re listed in alphabetical order by state). In the above example, you’ll find the 2008 U.S. Jr. Chess Congress. (Note: It might take up to 2-3 weeks before an event is rated, depending on how the rating report was submitted. Be patient. If the tournament hasn’t shown up online within a month, contact the organizer.)

The 8-digit number under the players’ names are their USCF ID number. Their pre- and post-rating is shown after that. If the time control was between 30-60 minutes, they will have 2 ratings listed:

R is their Regular over-the-board rating (used for virtually all scholastic tournaments), and Q is their Quick Chess rating. (Quick Chess is for games between 5-29 minutes; however, games between 30-60 minutes are dual-rated, both Regular and Quick. Games played at 61 minutes or longer affect only their Regular rating.)

You can get specific information about their games for this tournament by clicking on the Pairing Number in front of their name. It will show the result of each game played (Won, Loss, or Draw) and the opponent in each round, along with the opponents’ final results and ratings.
